Foundation (Prep) enrolments
The Department of Education and Training (DET) has released a new statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline.
The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Gordon PS
All government primary schools will follow the new timeline to support Foundation (Prep) enrolments for the following school year.
What you need to do:
- Contact our school on 53689223 or gordon.ps@education.vic.gov.au to book a school tour or to learn more about our school and the enrolment application process
- Ask the school for an enrolment form or download the following:Student Enrolment Form
- Submit an enrolment application for Foundation (Prep) before the end of July
- You will be notified of the outcome of your application by mid August.
- Take part in enrolment information and transition sessions.
- Your child’s start date will be communicated to you.

Gastro Outbreak. See below for details.
There has been an outbreak of gastroenteritis at the school (vomiting and/or diarrhoea and fever). If your child displays any systems or has a compromised immunity system please keep them home from school. Children with confirmed gastroenteritis are to be kept away from school a further 24 hours after their symptoms have ceased. We appreciate your cooperation in halting the spread of this illness in our school community.
